The LS Harmonic Balancer Installer or Removal Tool prevents damage to the balancer during installation or removal, quickly and without hassle. The CNC-machined components have a black oxide finish and equipped with a padded storage case to keep kit together and organized. Installer tool threads into crankshaft with use of the Roller thrust bearing to allow the drive nut to rotate freely for a smooth and even pressing and pulling action to the balancer. The bearing housing provides a large contact area with pilot studs to keep the harmonic balancer perpendicular with the crankshaft's centerline for bind-free action.
