Competition Engineering C3010 Steel Rear Fenderwell

Competition Engineering offers rear fenderwells in both steel and aluminum for cars that have been modified to fit larger rear tires. Larger rear fenderwells are also necessary when the rear frame rails are relocated inboard or when a complete rear frame rail clip is installed. Because rear drag race tires are available in several different sizes, a one-size-fits-all rear fenderwell is not feasible. To solve this dilemma, Competition Engineering created two widths of rear fenderwells, 23.25 Inch and 27.25 Inch wide, available in either aluminum or steel. We also made them in five different diameters to allow the installer the freedom to choose the correct size rear fenderwell without compromise. All Competition Engineering Rear Fenderwells are formed and fabricated in-house on specialized equipment to ensure a quality product every time. Each rear fenderwell kit has a Pittsburgh locking seam as well as having bead rolls for additional strength. The steel versions are made from 24 Gauge mild steel enabling them to be welded without the fear of toxic fumes associated with galvanized steel. For the weight conscious racer, we also have 0.032 Inch aluminum versions which are half the weight of the mild steel versions.
